JOHN FROM MELBOURNE

"I have been collecting shark jaws for most of my life, but it was the chance
encounter with the Shark Doctor on eBay which really got the proverbial
ball rolling for me. It was back in 2002 and it was my first eBay
purchase!! Not a bad begining really. I remember it was a nice set of
Ornate Wobbegong Jaws, followed shortly after by a lovely set of Smooth
Hammerhead jaws. I knew as soon as they arrived that I was looking at
truly museum quality items. It must be noted that I collect pretty much
anything that isn't "bolted down", Fossils, Fluorescnet Minerals, Skulls,
Stamps, Coins, Banknotes, you name it, and I have extremely high
standards. Nothing short of museum quality will do."

"Well 8 years and 100plus sets of jaws later it is fair to say that I
have a fairly impressive collection. I have many different rare species
including the elusive Creole Mako, Bramble Shark, Owstons Dogfish, Brier
Shark, Golden Dogfish to name a few. However, one constant in my
collection is the demand for Museum Quality specimens!! You wont find
any smelly yellow jaws in my cabinets! This is where the Shark Doctor
comes into his own. If ever I get the itch and want a new MQ max size
specimen, the Doc is only an e-mail away. He always has something new
and exciting for my collection. It may be a maxed out Longfin Mako with
2 3/8" primaries, or a massive Bull Shark with amazing tooth
pathologies, or even a new species of Wobby with skin samples. Always
pristine specimens with A1 10 out of 10 dentition.
My goal is to aquire as many species in both MAX and MIN Museum Quality
jaws as I can. The one disadvantage of dealing with someone that quality
of the Shark Doctor is he sets the bar so high in terms of quality, it
makes it hard to keep the standard up through any other source. This is
why the Shark Doctor will always be my first point of contact when I
have some spare coin to invest in my collection".

"I would say that cabinet is well and truly packed. In fact I think it is
over full. I am in the process of acquiring some new cabinets which will
cause a major reshuffle of my stuff, however this cabinet will be pretty
much left as it is. I may thin it out a little but no major changes."

"Unfortunately I haven't put anything in there for scale, but
I can tell you that the big Shark Doc Tigers are about
24" x 24" with 1 1/2" primaries. That big Long Fin
Mako is another beast I bought from you back around
Christmas '04. It has 2" uppers and 2 3/8" lowers."
